Week of Monday, August 21st to Friday, August 25th: Wilderness Week

Outside every day enjoying and exploring nearby creeks, beach, and trails.
The children will choose a “campsite” and learn how to put up simple tents.
This week will touch a little on sustainability of using natural resources. The children will visit a natural clay river bed in our community and use this to make a clay creation which will be painted using colours they find in nature.
The skill of mindfulness while in nature will be taught as we learn how to “forest bath” every day.
